EXPERIENCING IN A PHYGITAL WAY

Another addition to our phygital portfolio was highlighted during the Mercedes-Benz exhibition at the IAA 2021 in Munich. The in-location EXOS app was part of the interactive space at the Odeonsplatz turning various physical touchpoints into digital experiences.

By scanning the different exhibits, visitors of the Mercedes-Benz space easily attained in-depth information about the cars and the brand itself. The built-in NFC chips gave the opportunity to learn more about the displays right in front of the visitor. Detailed descriptions of what one was looking at and, further, notices about event highlights and information about Mercedes-Benz’ unique brand world could be gained.

REACHING THE NEXT DIGITAL LEVEL

The digital addition to the physical environment enabled an individual and future-oriented customer journey. Gamification and the chance to win giveaways on-site empowered the visit to the Mercedes-Benz space to be fun and informative at the same time.

While smoothly extending the Mercedes-Benz experience at the IAA, you can engage with the app at our Mercedes-Benz project “Studio Odeonsplatz”. The regularly changing campaigns at Studio Odeonsplatz feature different artists and information about their individual visions, which can be drawn from the information in the EXOS app. Come by and test this new form of experiencing brand worlds!
