As artist, dancer, and creative technologist at the Google Creative Lab New York, our community friend Maya Man was the perfect cast to host this virtual introductory coding session. Maya gave us an exclusive deep dive into her recent projects that uniquely blend her love for all things in the area of movement and software.

Then it was your turn: Whether you’re an experienced programmer or newbie, Maya gave a step-by-step, hands-on interactive session around creative coding. In preparation, you simply had to select your most favorite object around (be it a pen, a plant or literally anything), bring it to the class and let Maya show you how to draw it on screen with code.
