LIGANOVA Horizon presents Defender Experience on Sylt

Frankfurt, August 4, 2023. The luxury automotive brand Defender offers its fans and enthusiasts a unique opportunity throughout August to discover the breathtaking island of Sylt and experience the most rugged SUV in its natural habitat: The Defender Experience. In this context, the Defender makes the journey the destination and promises an adventure for everyone, whether it’s exploring the dreamy North Sea island or fearlessly taking on kitesurfing against wind and water. To support this endeavor, the marketing turned to LIGANOVA Horizon. The agency, belonging to the LIGANOVA GROUP, manages the project management of all activities in one place – from hotel bookings for guests, planning events, developing the website, to staging the Defender Basecamp on the beach.
At the heart of the Defender Experience is Buhne 16, from which exciting excursions with professional SUV drivers into the wild dune landscape and various events across the island commence. Participants can also look forward to culinary delights at the Defender Basecamp. Here, the Defender is presented as a modern luxury brand in its “natural” environment, with sustainability and nature conservation on Sylt always being of high importance.
Another highlight is the Defender-sponsored Kitesurf World Cup on Sylt, where the elite of kitesurfing competes for the title from August 22 to 27, 2023. A diverse supporting program awaits visitors on the Westerland Promenade, including the Defender Experience at Brandenburger Strand. The attention-grabbing presence, implemented with the help of LIGANOVA Berlin, offers interested parties the opportunity to experience the driving capabilities of the Defender and configure vehicles on-site.
