LIGANOVA launches Green Gen Calculator - an innovative Co2 calculator for the retail industry

Stuttgart, February 15, 2023. The agency for Brand & Retail Experiences will present its extensive ‘Green Gen’ portfolio at this year’s Euroshop – sustainable high-end solutions for brand spaces, campaigns and events in retail that can be implemented without compromising on quality or aesthetics.

The core of the offering is the ‘Green Gen Calculator’, which the retail specialists developed together with their SaaS subsidiary Code Gaia. LIGANOVA provides the retail expertise, Code Gaia the necessary software solution for sustainability analysis, optimization and reporting. The common goal: transformation of retail to more sustainability – data-based and measurable.

The Retail CO2 Calculator is the first product of its kind on the market. It enables retailers to analyze their CO2 emissions in great detail and at a granular level, and to realize optimization potential based on this analysis. It is a web-based solution that can be used to manage CO2 data from various projects in one’s own retail business.

Various modules are available to cover the entire range: These include materials and production, water and energy consumption, travel and accommodation management, digital components, maintenance and repair. The calculator bundles all raw data fed in by the suppliers and stakeholders involved and uses it to generate a holistic overview of all CO2 emissions in the retail sector.
