Breaking down boundaries – Redefining the retail space by blurring the edges between living and shopping

Within walking distance of the terminals of one of Europe’s most frequented airports, a new complex of buildings, designed to blend business with a modern lifestyle, is currently being built. Our partner will operate a prestigious retail space, but the rules have changed: A regular duty-free concept will not be successful outside of the airport – people will have to visit this place by choice, not by chance. To make this idea attractive, we’re building a destination that dissolves the boundaries between living and shopping.

LIGANOVA contributed to this project with a status quo analysis, innovation workshops, a strategic brand proposition, and the development and realization of the concept.
